THE LOOKOUT: CAPE TOWN’S BREATHTAKING VIEW OF THE WORLD CUP

Cape Town’s best view of all the FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa™ action is not inside its fantastic new stadium – but it’s nearby.

The Lookout is set to become Cape Town’s most sought-after venue for discerning football fans to take in all the action of the FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa™, with its panoramic views of Cape Town Stadium, Table Mountain, Granger Bay and the V&A Waterfront and unparalleled luxury.

Set in the new Granger Bay area of the V&A Waterfront, The Lookout is a rooftop marquee venue that boasts an exclusive VIP chalet and a cocktail lounge area that can accommodate 700 people. All-round glass side panelling guarantees picturesque views, while keeping the chilly Cape Town winter firmly at bay.

Situated less than 400 metres from the Mother City’s premier football venue, The Lookout is close enough for patrons to hear the roar of the crowd during matches at the stadium, but far enough away to not have any match-day hassles.

Coupled with that, guests can enjoy a buffet main meal, snacks, a full complimentary bar, dedicated hosts, entertainment and security – all included in the price of entry. World Cup matches will be screened on large screens in the cocktail area.

The Lookout will operate every day during June and July 2010 for private functions, dinners and live-match viewing – meaning that fans can sit back and enjoy the amenities on offer in stylish comfort and luxury, no matter where matches are being played.

The Lookout is a fully FIFA-licensed, official Private Viewing Area (PVA) presented by Neo Africa, a proud National Supporter of the FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa™.

Neo Africa is a provider of exclusive licensed PVAs in prime, safe and secure venues, that are centrally located in each of the nine South African host cities. Neo Africa PVA venues are diverse, and can accommodate both small and large groups ranging from 20 to 1 200 guests.

“Every one of our PVAs has been specially selected to provide guests with the pinnacle of comfort and service. While they are all leading venues, and each has its own specific attractions, it must be said that The Lookout is certainly one of the most spectacular. With its prime location, its breathtaking views and its close proximity to the actual World Cup stadium, it is surely going to be the place to take in the tournament,” says Neo Africa CEO Vivien Natasen.

“Not only that, Neo Africa has put together a package for The Lookout’s guests that is truly remarkable: the very best in food, drink, luxury, service and entertainment, at prices that are among the most competitive available. We are offering fans the Neo Africa Experience – and what an unforgettable experience it will be! We have also made available luxury yachts to provide our clients, at preferential rates, the opportunity to experience Cape Town from another angle.”
